Disney World Golf Courses

Have you ever considered playing a round of golf at one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world?

If you’re like me, the thought probably never crossed your mind. That is, until recently.

My family and I had the opportunity to play a round of golf at Disney World, and let me tell you, it was an experience we’ll never forget.

Whether a seasoned pro or a complete novice, I think anyone can enjoy playing golf at Disney World.

Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

The Lake Buena Vista Golf Club is the first course we are going to discuss. This Golf Resort boasts a boat launch that takes you to Disney Springs, which is a cool feature.

They have a snack bar and a Pro Shop, however, the Pro Shop is significantly smaller and does not have as many things to buy. However, you may still acquire your golfing equipment and get ready for another enjoyable day on the links at Disney.

A beautiful aspect of this course is its overlooks of Disney Springs. You might see the hot air balloon in the sky while you’re on the putting green or driving range.

Another unusual feature of this session is that it includes a water driving range, allowing you to attempt to hit your balls over the lake and onto the island.

Disney Palm Golf Course

The first course we played was the Palm Course. This course is one of the four championship courses at Disney World.

The Palm Course is known for its difficulty, so I was a little nervous. But after the first few holes, I started to get into a groove and had a lot of fun.

Even though I didn’t score very well, the experience of playing golf at Disney World was worth it. You have four and a half hours to play 18 holes. If you are playing 9 holes, it’s a little over 2 hours.

They have a snack cart that goes around offering snacks and alcoholic beverages, which accepts credit cards.

This golf course is really stunning, with views of Disney’s Grand Floridian and Polynesian Resort.

Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course

The next course we played was the Oak Trail Golf Course. This course is a 9-hole walking course that is perfect for beginners or those looking for a more relaxed game.

After the Palm Course, I was definitely ready for a break. The Oak Trail Golf Course was the perfect remedy.

The course was shorter and less challenging than the Palm Course, but it was still a lot of fun. And the scenery was absolutely beautiful.

For your grazing pleasure, there is Chip n’ Dales Deli–a counter service or snack bar where you can find cold beers and tasty snacks to enjoy as you play a round of golf on a beautiful afternoon.

This course also has a snack cart, which travels around and provides food and beverages while you are out on the course.

FootGolf is a game that the kids will love. For those who are unfamiliar with it, it’s similar to soccer except that you’re kicking a ball instead of heading the ball. That’s fantastic for families with little children.

Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course

The famous Magnolia Golf Course. This course is one of the most popular courses at Disney World, and it’s easy to see why.

The Magnolia Golf Course is known for its stunning views of Cinderella’s castle. And trust me, the view does not disappoint.

In addition to the incredible scenery, the Magnolia Golf Course is also a great challenge.

I had to step up my game on this course, but I’m glad I did. It was an incredibly fun and rewarding experience.
