Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

You start feeling the theme of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort as soon as you want into the front doors.

If you can fit it into your schedule, the outside luau can’t be missed. The Polynesian Village Resort is a stop on the monorail route, giving easy access to the Magic Kingdom. You can easily walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center to catch the monorail to Epcot.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

If you love the outdoors but camping at Fort Wilderness isn’t your speed, you will love Disney’s, Wilderness Lodge. Walking into the lobby, you’ll likely hear the crickets chirping away.

Disney World Deluxe Villas

The Disney World Deluxe Villas offer amenities that are perfect for longer stays. Rooms come with either a full kitchen or a kitchenette area, depending on room size. Most villas are more spacious than traditional Disney rooms, allowing you to fit more guests.

The timeshare program allows Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members special access to these hotels. You don’t have to belong to DVC to stay at the villas, but they do get first dibs.

Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

The Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort provides a short walk to Main Street U.S.A at Magic Kingdom. Featuring studios up to two bedrooms, there is plenty of room for your whole family. You’ll see on your Disney World Resort Map that it’s a short walk to the Contemporary Resort.

 The Bay Lake Tower has a bar at the very top, Top of the World Lounge, and will give you amazing views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. They even pipe in the same music you’d hear if you were in front of the castle.

Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

The rustic feel is strong at the Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Each room has hand-carved furniture and boasts references to Bambi throughout. Each room has a patio or balcony with it.

Buses are available at Wilderness Lodge for transportation, as well as the boat to Magic Kingdom. Take a look at your Disney World Resort map so you know exactly where the pools are for when you get back from a day at the parks!

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

The other option at Wilderness Lodge is the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This newer addition gives you the feeling of being outdoors, all while being minutes away from Cinderella’s Castle. Staying at the villas, you can enjoy all the amenities the Wilderness Lodge has to offer.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House

Staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House is a trip within itself. You may find you never have to leave the hotel property. 

Looking over the African savanna, be on the lookout for one of the 30 species of animals that call it home. Jambo House boasts a refreshing pool area, complete with a play area.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village

As a DVC member, you have another villa option at Animal Kingdom. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village is going to be very similar to the Jambo House. There are more rooms at Kidani Village and they are slightly bigger. The property at Kidani Village is very large, so prepare to do some walking if your room isn’t close to the lobby.

Disney’s Beach Club Villas

The Disney World Resort map will show you how easy it is to access Epcot and Hollywood Studios from Disney’s Beach Club Villas. The villas have the look of 20th century New England oceanfront homes.

 Check out the 50s themed restaurant, Beaches and Cream, with some over the top ice cream desserts. While you can share the pool at the Beach Club Resort, there is also a private pool for guests staying at the villas.

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas

Walking into the property of Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, you likely will feel you are stepping into Atlantic City, circa the 1930s. 

The villas are situated right on the boardwalk, which has easy access to restaurants, nightclubs, and more. Like the rest of the hotels near the boardwalk, you can easily walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Disney’s Old Key West Resort

Disney’s Old Key West Resort provides the laid back feel you’d get if you were in Key West itself. With boat transportation to Disney Springs, the Disney World Resort offers a relaxing vacation spot. The colorful building colors will make you feel you are only steps away from Duval Street.

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

While you receive the same amenities as the original resort, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows provide a unique lodging experience. The villas themselves are similar enough to the regular rooms at the Polynesian. 

You’ll see on your Disney World Resort map, the Bungalows are situated right on top of the water outside the resort. With a perfect view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and its own plunge pool, it’s definitely a one-of-a-kind stay!

Disney’s Riviera Resort

The newest DVC hotel is Disney’s Riviera Resort. Giving you the feeling of being in the European Riviera, the Disney World Resort offers 300 state of the art rooms. The Disney Skyliner has a stop at the Riviera Resort, giving guests easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

The pool area provides for a refreshing break from the Florida heat. With an oversized pool and a children’s water play area, you may never want to leave.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is currently going through a huge renovation process. While the resort is currently open, you will want to be aware of the ongoing construction that is supposed to last sometime. On your Disney World Resort Map, you’ll see the resort is within a short walk of Disney Springs which is a major plus.

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa delivers when it comes to luxury. Opened in 2013, it brings the elegance of the flagship Disney World Resort, The Grand Floridian, with a newer touch.

Rooms are more updated than the original hotel with the added bonus of kitchenettes and larger room options. The villas have their own separate entrance and lobby for check-in.



Where to Find Physical Maps at Disney World

Knowing right where to get your Disney World Resort map will be extremely helpful in the long run. No matter where you are on the premises, a map won’t be far away.

Every theme park and resort has maps handy for your use. Be sure to pick one up when you buy your theme park tickets. Disney Springs has an information center where you can find maps to all the various parks. If you are having trouble finding one, be sure to find a cast member to ask.

The maps you would pick up at Disney cannot be mailed to you, but there is an app to download that will come in handy during your trip.
